We’re preparing to launch now and we need some high-quality hosting for our tracker. It will be a public tracker, but won’t be hosting any fully copyrighted material.
We need a linux VM with a good amount of CPU and RAM and probably ~20GB of transfer a month. It is very important that we retain full control of the access logging ability and you do not do any fine-grained network monitoring or logging outside of the VM.
Ideally, we are looking for a host who is supportive of the services which we are trying to provide.
If you are capable of providing this, please send a note to: partners [hat] anomos [doot] info.
Thanks,
Rich!
ps We’re more than willing to plug for a discount if we find a host we are happy with.

We wait, we wait…
When get the party started!?
Hi,
On a different note, what kind of coding background are you looking for?
How’s the tracker host search going?
Anything new??
Kind of wondering if this thing will ever catch on like emule/BT did. I was a bit underwhelmed by the vid. It seemed to jump all over the place and didnt really go into technical specs on using TOR as a framwork for Anomos, which I think would be dauntingly SLLLOWWWW. Did I get that right? They’re using TOR as a base model for their code?
Anyways I do realize every app has a starting place on the racetrack so I am cautiously optimistic.
Also..they mentioned school. Are they grad students? Undergrad? Just curious. :)

They can count on me (grad ex.pro) if it lacks performance. Se my blog entries in the “What is Anomos?” blog.
wow, very nice and incredible post.
