If you’re interested in helping out, we have weekly development sessions at 7PM (EST) on Wednesdays in #anomos on Freenode. After this next one, the tracker should be running all of the time, and we will have .torrents posted here for you to share.

Whould you ever release a official Windows build, or it´s concepted just for Linux/Python?
@Zerb – Python is cross-platform, so it should work on any platform with python support, including windows and osx.
However, we do our development mainly in the linux environment because linux is pretty great.

There will eventually be a packaged W32 release (possibly bundled with Tor).
None of us have actually tried to use the software on windows or osx yet because we only have linux, but it should be feasibly possible. The Controlsocket being called isn’t particularly important. I’ll take a look at it when I get the chance.
About use for Tracker connection over Tor?
This will usefull to hide own IP mean the Tracker cant see then the real IP.
Mean Tracker connection will be then Anonymous over Tor.

Yes, i meaned a standalone package for w32. the most users have win, so it should be important.

TorChat written in python, and for Windows it has build in Tor binary included, to use Easy TorChat.

@12: Chatting will probably never be implemented in our client.. that is not the purpose of our project.
@13: There will be easy to install packages when we have a product we are comfortable with releasing. For now, it is an in-development project and not yet suitable for end-users.

how long should it take, till Anomos has the first official release? We talking about weeks or months?
i think Anomos is stable, and to find bugs must release alphas, betas.
only with 2 persons cant find the problems.
Mean it needs puplic beta tests and Windows builds.
Then when wait longer then possible later can find lots of problems.
About its uses Tor for Anonymous Chats,

You said you will make a Package with Tor, then its
TorChat realy usefull why:
1.Written in Python
2.It uses Tor Hidden Service Rendezvous Point:

And it does not use Anomos Network!

Most of the IRC servers are blocking any ip addresses associated with tor.

OneSwarm is just one big multi path data transfer “bottleneck” where you manually have to add users.
Guys, trackers are cool, but I found the more cooler website =) http://www.picktorrent.com/ you can download here without any registration (it’s very useful sometimes.. maybe there are not enough ppl, who want to download your music and you can’t up your f’ing ratio… it’s very bad =) but this search engine is solvation!
