We’ve added a new feature to Anomos that I think you guys might enjoy. Because all torrent files are really just an infohash and a tracker location, we’ve added the ability to strip out the non-anonymized tracker and replace it with a public anomos tracker, on the fly.

In other news, progress continues steadily. Large-scale testing has begun, to much success. We’ve done a lot of work on the user interface, and I think it’s a big step up from the previous versions. We’re getting very close to releasing a ‘.9′ version for community testing. Very exciting!

Stay tuned!

Good news! When do you expect the community testing release will be available? November?
GREAT work guys :)
Good woork folks.
Keep it up
can we help people in country * get out from their intellectually oppressive regimes with this
im clearly very confused.
Will it be long until Anomos appear?
This project looks very promising but what language is is being scipted in?
i can afford translation in german, if it needed.
Will you be attending 26C3?
/hottuna from 25c3
this looks interesting. but can it be used for anything yet? the ‘test torrent’ (asmz_2006-05-02_aud2.flac16_vbr_mp3.zip.atorrent) says “Problem connecting to tracker – (111, ‘Connection refused’)”.
Also are there any other trackers and a way to actually _find_ the .atorrent files?
Unfortunately without that it’s pretty much useless :(
….it’s starting to look like “vaporware” laaaa la la la la
The idea was good but the project unfortunately seems to have grinded to a complete halt.
I’d look into OneSwarm or Freenet instead. Both of them alive and kicking projects with developer momentum.

Looks to me like they are still working on it

i think Anomos doesnt get any success which his Tracker based idea.
People in France,Germany,Sweden doesnt use Anomos with the Tracker based.
With OneSwarm, Freenet, I2P you doesnt need a Tracker.
And more features is required like BitBlinder based ideas.
DEAD, DEAD and more DEAD!
Also appreciate the Anomos is dead. But do nothing of the idea with the tracker, these are other networks, such as safer StealthNet or I2P

#16: I like your website.
does this mean anomos is dead now?
or do you know any atorrent sites?
