This is a minor release which fixes the issues with invisible text areas which was caused by a problem in an underlying graphics component. It also introduces a Connections windows which will show information about connected neighbors and their geographic locations (provided by a MaxMind database). It is built from the ‘testing’ branch, but I believe that it is stable enough to release.

The new version has been tested on XP and Vista, but not Windows 7. If any Windows 7 users download this and try it, please let me know if it works, or if it doesn’t, what you are able to do to fix it.![]()

Also, we need way more people to seed and relay on the network. Anomos requires that at least a handful of users are connected to a tracker to create the pathways necessary for a transfer to occur. You can use this torrent file to help seed and relay with. If you’re really cool, you’ll tell your friends! Anomos needs a community to support it!![]()
Anyway, windows users can use this link to download the new version. Linux users can get the new features by downloading the testing branch in the git repository.![]()
That’s all for now -

I just tried to install Anomos 0.9.0.1 on Windows 7 Home Premium and everything installed correctly, except the OpenSSL 32-bit installer hangs when trying to install it into c:\program files (x86)\OpenSSL
PS: It asks me during the install to copy OpenSSL Light DLLs to:
The Windows system directory
OR
The OpenSSL binaries (/bin) directory
Why is there a choice? I tried both options and the installer hangs either way.
Do you have a 64-bit computer?
Can you install:
http://www.slproweb.com/download/Win64OpenSSL_Light-0_9_8l.exe
that binary?

What am I doing wrong?
Is there a guide for aTorrent downloading a file?
As a system I’m using Windows 7 x64
Asking for your help!
@Master – did you install the 64bit or the 32bit version of OpenSSL?
It also looks like you simply were unable to connect to the network because there weren’t enough available peers with properly configured ports. This is a problem we’ll keep having until we reach a certain size, unfortunately.
Rich
Thank you ever taken the help….
I use the 32bit version with the same Anomos installed.

I got this message after i converted the torrent to atorrent and ran it.
[INFO ] 13:22:29 (anondownloadgui:2161) Anomos started
[INFO ] 13:22:33 (anondownloadgui:3182) Ports are closed!
[ERROR ] 13:22:39 (anondownloadgui:2945) (global message) : This is not a valid torrent file. (Torrent uses invalid piece size: 131072 ).
Is there any solution for this error?
I have port 5061 forwarded and checked with pfportcheck. Anomos does not recognize the port as open and always has the yellow triangle when started.
Thoughts?
When I add torrent-file:

any thoughts would be welcome.
Hello,
I have the same issue as XFX. When installing Open SSL 32bit on Win 7 (and yes I have a 32bit system) either options for copying the dll’s just hangs the installer.
When I end the process I can still open the program, but not sure what will happen if i try downloading a torrent.
Any ideas of what to do?
never mind fixed it, just google SSL light and download and install it away from the original installer, installed flawlessly and didn’t hang.
This is not a valid torrent file. (Torrent uses invalid piece size: 4194304)
are there any fixes?
