Also – A lot of people have been asking where to find ‘atorrent’ files. The answer is coming soon. In fact, those of you who read german p2p blogs might have found out already, before we actually intended for anybody to know, but that’s okay. Gives us more pressure to make everything clean and shiny. We’ll be making an official announcement very soon! We’ll also need some translators again! If you have any non-english language skills, we can use your help from some light-to-medium translation of a website! (And if anybody really really wants to see it early, shoot us an email or join #anomos on irc.freenode.org)

We are still waiting for the answer…
Wasn’t a public atorrents hosting site based on anonbay expected to be online in time for the HOPE conference? That was held on 16-18 July. I’m loosing hope. :(
Is the project dead?
This project is way to long in the making! Almost 2 1/2 since inception.. c’mon guys….
Anonbay was supposed to be finished by mid July, on September 24 we are still waiting. Nobody cares to answer the questions asked in comments #3 and #4. In the mailing list there have been no new posts since June.
To me it looks like the project is dying, we’d better switch to something else. Maybe I2P… it’s slow, but at least it works, is in active development, has a friendly community. Moreover they have both torrent trackers and torrent hosting sites up and running.
Too bad the project is dead.

RetroShare, I2P and Freenet.
A network with a tracker is not safe!

Anomos is or was the better alternative for bittorrent. It’s the only anonymous P2P wich is fast too (I2P is very slow and StealthNet too). It would be a good thing that anomos is not dead…

The tracker is a strong weakness in Anomos.
Once this fails the whole network stops working.
In addition, one needs to Anomos websites, also a weak point!
These can block or delete.
RetroShare is faster and safer!

I try to open a torrent which contains your windows software.
When opening the torrent for stripping, i get:
Anomos Error:This is not a valid torrent file. (Torrent uses invalid piece size: 32768
i got the torrent from tpb, and it seems ok. maybe u should remove that test…..
